Seven Pillars is an Ann Arbor based non-profit corporation supporting musicians in Michigan and currently in Jamaica.

Michigan

In 2019, Seven Pillars brought the Interactive Flute Retreat, Interactive Flute programs to musicians in South Haven Michigan featuring PROJECT Trio. Through a collaboration with Foundry Hall, Seven Pillars donated a free concert to the South Haven Community.

This year, 2020, Seven Pillars is broadening the Interactive Youth program to three days. Students get to work with members of PROJECT Trio and have the rare opportunity to perform with the award winning ensemble in concert.

Jamaica

In the fall of 2019, Seven Pillar members, Melissa Grey and Dr. Aleksandra Vøjcîc, provided a free two day residency at the Edna Manley College of Music including an masterclass and recital.

Special thanks to Flute Specialist’s who donated four flutes to Seven Pillars. Students from the local orphanage, university, and high school benefitted from their donation.

2020

With the support of the Edna Manley College of Visual and Performing Arts as well as the University of Michigan School of Music Theatre and Dance, we have decided to lend a helping hand to talented students interested in furthering their musical career via the Seven Pillars Music Academy in Kingston, Jamaica.
